Our history
It all began in 1996
We took up the challenge of moving forward and launching a project on a solid foundation: a venture into the office furniture market.
The opening of GAPSA was just the beginning.
I remember the team. An enthusiastic team of fourteen members, eager to see their aspirations to differentiate GAPSA from other national office furniture manufacturers come to fruition.
Our strategy?
To specialise in a single sector of activity: to be the most competitive manufacturer of metal tambour door cabinets on the market. The determination, effort and hard work of a committed team have been key factors in our success: launching a quality product, seeing a very significant market share emerge and grow, and successfully positioning ourselves in the sector to become the European leader, a position we have maintained throughout the years and continue to enjoy today.
Today, Gapsa is synonymous with experience, evolution and continuous improvement.
At our headquarters in Castellar del Vallès (Barcelona), we have a 10,000 m² facility that has been imbued with the same spirit of hard work, improvement and self-transcendence for 30 years.
It is at our facilities that we carry out all our production activities, manufacturing tambour door cabinets and subjecting them to rigorous quality controls, thanks to a team of employees that has continued to grow. We have succeeded in building a loyal portfolio of more than 3,600 active customers, who act as distributors for our product. We have opened markets in 40 countries, enabling us to achieve 85% of our sales through exports worldwide.
